For over 30 years, Lynchburg Family Medicine has played a pivotal role in the health and well-being of Central Virginia. As Centra’s oldest and most productive practice, we enjoy the reputation that leads to building a broad base of patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Our mission of “Educating Family Physicians through Excellent Patient Care” reflects our dual role of providing a medical home for continuous, compassionate, and competent health care, while developing the clinical skills of physicians-in-training and preparing them for the challenges of the United States health care system.
Our clinic and program are housed in a new state-of-the-art facility that meets the needs of team care and excellent teamwork. As our patient, you will not only benefit from our variety of on-site medical services but will also be greeted by the smiling faces of our supportive staff and nurses.
Therefore, whether you are a patient looking for a doctor or are a physician seeking to further your medical education, we invite you to contact us at Lynchburg Family Medicine.
The Lynchburg Family Medicine Geriatrics Program has received continued accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program was reviewed in June and was informed recently that the review committee granted the Geriatrics Program full- continued accreditation. The next review will be in October 2017.
Lynchburg Family Medicine Center has been selected to be featured in upcoming local television ads. Could it be because of our state-of-art new facility, outstanding physicians, and friendly nurses and staff? Make sure you pay attention to the TV commercials over the next few weeks!
Our Program Director, Dr. David Gregory, was invited by a local radio station to share about our practice. To listen to an audio clip of the interview, click here.
